Welcome to the personal blog of Rhenda Iris Strub, a member of the City Council of Olympia, Washington.  You are welcome to join in conversation here.  Please follow these simple rules.

1. You must use your real name.  That’s first and last name.  Whatever you write you should own just like you would if we were talking in person.   Registration under obvious screen names will be tossed. 
2. Don’t be a jerk.  Criticize and disagree, but if you get nasty I’ll toss you in the cyber trash.  I am the final arbiter of jerk behavior.
3. This is not an official communication site for business of the City of Olympia.  Rhenda Iris Strub pays for it and maintains it as a way to interact with citizens.  So, please, don’t get any crazy ideas about it being a part of any official record no matter what we may be discussing here.  If you want official communication with the Council use the information available here.
